Sam’s 1,042km Run for Veterans & Frontline Workers

The Full Story

On 1st of April 2025, Sam Bamford, host of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, is taking on his most gruelling challenge yet—a 1,042km ultra-run from Melbourne to Adelaide via the Great Ocean Road. Covering an average of 52km+ per day for 20 days, this journey is more than just a test of endurance—it’s a mission to raise awareness and funds for combat veterans, first responders, and frontline workers struggling with PTSD.

As a former Australian Army paratrooper, Sam has seen firsthand the sacrifices made by those who serve. Too many veterans and frontline workers battle in silence, and this run is a call to action—to honour those we’ve lost and to support those still fighting.

How You Can Help

Sam is running to raise $100,000 for the Aussie Frontline Foundation, a newly established charity dedicated to providing mental health support, resources, and rehabilitation for those who have given everything in the line of duty.

Every dollar counts. Donate today and be part of this mission.
